Use this Spanish gerund practice after reading Spanish gerund. The main pattern is estar + gerund: estoy hablando.
Exercise 1: Form the Gerund

Exercise 2: Translate the Sentence
- I am studying. ->Estoy estudiando.
- They are eating. ->Estan comiendo.
- We are learning Spanish. ->Estamos aprendiendo español.
Exercise 3: Avoid the English -ing Trap
Not every English -ing becomes a Spanish gerund.
- I like dancing. ->Me gusta bailar. Use the infinitive.
- Learning Spanish is useful. ->Aprender español es util. Use the infinitive.
- I am dancing. ->Estoy bailando. Use the gerund.
